Company:The Barge Lady Project:Complete Re-design and development Website:www.bargelady.com Description: The Barge Lady is a Chicago-based barging agency that has a large selection of European and International cruises to choose from. Massif Media originally designed The Barge Lady site in 1999 and when they wanted to add a large group of international cruises they chose Massif Media to restructure and redesign the entire site in 2004. We designed the user interface to be very easy to navigate through all the different regions and to visually promote each barge line using photographs, menus and maps. We worked closely with Stephen Phillips to develop a robust Content Management System giving them the ability to add to and edit their site while keeping the look and feel consistent. We have also worked with The Barge Lady on their Search Engine Optimization,achieving higher rankings in top search engines.
